Updated on March 28, 2008

This presentation is part of the Reusability and Specialization e-Learning Course.

Transcript

Specialization allows you to customize specific rules based on certain criteria, while reusing other rules. Designing for specialization in PRPC takes advantage of PRPC's rule resolution feature.  The main aspects of rule resolution as it pertains to specialization include:

  • Classes and the class structure you design
  • RuleSets and RuleSet versions
  • Circumstancing by date and/or property, and the use of
