Tagging a new message in Pulse

Updated on April 5, 2022

You can tag a message in Pulse to associate it with similar messages. By categorizing messages, you can help users find the required information to resolve a case.

  1. Enter your message text in Pulse, but do not post the message.
  2. Place your cursor in your message text, and then enter #.
  3. Type one or more characters, and then select a tag from the list of matching results.
Result: If no matches are found, a new tag is created from the text that you entered.
  4. Add more tags after entering a blank space after each tag.
  5. Click Post.
