Data page testing

Updated on January 14, 2022

Data page test cases are a way to validate that application data is loaded correctly. Data page test cases compare the expected value of one or more properties with their actual values in a data page.

Before you begin creating tests, your application must be configured for testing. See Creating a test ruleset to store test cases.

The data page test case landing page lets you manage your data page unit tests. It lists all of the data page tests in your application.

From the landing page you can selectively run data page test cases and view whether they have passed or failed, see whether data pages have started experiencing changes in their run time, and create new data page test cases. You can access tests from the Data Explorer by selecting View all test cases from the menu at the top right of the Data Explorer.
