Can change logging parameters without restarting Process Commander

Updated on April 26, 2019

Summary

A developer asks

Is there a way for me have the changes I've made to our prlogging.xml file take effect immediately?

Currently, my changes take effect only the next time that Process Commander is restarted.

Update: Begining with V5.1, an alternate approach is also available to make termporary changes to logging parameters. Select Tools > Logging Level Settings from the Developer portal menu to access the Logging Level tool.

Suggested Approach

After making changes to your prlogging.xml file, you can make those changes take effect without restarting the application server.

Run the standard activity Code-.RefreshLogConfiguration.
