Changing the case ID format

Change the case ID format to help case workers distinguish between instances of different case types.

  1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Case types, and then click the case type that you want to open.
  2. On the Settings tab, click General.
  3. In the as Case ID prefix field, enter a prefix for your case ID, for example, JobApp.
    For more information on the ID format, see Case ID format.
  4. Click Save.
