Formatting text boxes in a survey

Format mutliple text boxes in a survey to ask users to provide short text answers. For example, you can ask users to enter a first name or a phone number.

Before you begin: Add a question of type Multi-text boxes to your survey. For more information, see Adding a question to a question page.
  1. Find a multi-text boxes question to format, if you do not have one open already.
    1. In the header of Dev Studio, click ConfigureCase ManagementSurvey.
    2. Click the name of a survey, and then click a question of type Multi-text boxes.
  2. In the text field, enter the text of the question.
  3. Label the text boxes.
    1. In the Textbox options section, click +Add value.
    2. In the Display value field, enter a label for the text box.
  4. Optional: To control when the text box is displayed, define conditions.
    1. Click MoreAdvanced view.
    2. From the Visible when drop-down list, select When, then click Edit.
    3. From the Field drop-down list, select the field that controls whether the check box is displayed in the group.
    4. From the Comparator drop-down list, select the comparator for the when condition.
    5. Click Select values, and then select the values that determine whether the check box is dispalyed.
    6. Click Submit.
    7. Click OK.
  5. Click Save survey.
