Keyboard shortcuts for processes

For faster and more efficient creation of processes, you can use keyboard shortcuts in the flow diagram. Using keyboard shortcuts also supports accessibility and provides a better experience for developers who rely on a keyboard while developing an application.

You can use the following keyboard shortcuts when you create a process in a flow diagram:

Shortcut Description
Shift + mouse clickSelects an item or removes it from the rest of the selected items.

For example, you can select multiple flow shapes so that you can delete more than one shape at once.

Delete or BackspaceDeletes the selected items.
Ctrl + ASelects all objects on the canvas.
AltTemporarily switches between pan mode and select mode.
Secondary mouse button + dragTemporarily pans the canvas when in select mode or temporarily selects items when in pan mode.
+ (Windows) or = (Mac OS)Zooms in.
-Zooms out.
Ctrl + MToggles between full screen and the normal canvas.
EscExits the current operation.
Ctrl + SSaves changes.
Double click on the canvasCenters and fits the screen diagram.
