Changing user details in Snowbound VirtualViewer annotations

Updated on February 26, 2019

Enhance communication when you collaborate on documents by specifying which user details to display in the Snowbound VirtualViewer annotations. For example, modify a data transform to display an email address of a user who added an annotation, so that you can easily contact the user for more information.

  1. In the navigation panel of Dev Studio, click Records > Data Model > Data Transform.
  2. In the list of records, select AnnotationUserInformation, and then copy the instance to your application ruleset.

For more information, see Copying a rule or data instance.

  3. In the header of Dev Studio, search for the AnnotationUserInformation instance in your application ruleset, and then open the instance.
  4. In the Source field, enter the value that specifies information that you want to display in the annotation details. For example, to display a user ID, enter the following value:
    pxRequestor.pxUserIdentifier
Note: The default value that is displayed is a user name.
  5. Click Save.
