Installing and configuring the Adobe Experience Platform Profile and Segment Membership integration component

To use Pega Customer Decision Hub along with Adobe Experience Platform Profile and Segment Membership integration component you must download and install the component.

  1. Download the component from Pega Marketplace.
  2. Import the ZIP file into your instance in Pega Customer Decision Hub Dev Studio by doing the following steps:
    1. In Pega Customer Decision Hub, go to Dev Studio.
    2. Click Configure Application Distribution Import.
    3. Upload the ZIP file.
    4. Follow the import wizard to complete the process.
  3. Enable Adobe Segment Membership component.
  4. Save your implementation application.
  5. Open the PegaNBAM:Agents access group and update the application to be your implementation application.
  6. Create a new real-time data flow for Segment Membership by doing the following steps:
    1. In Dev Studio, go to ConfigureDecisioningData FlowsReal-time processing.
    2. Click New.
    3. In the Applies to field, enter or select PegaCDH-Data-SegmentMembership-Adobe.
    4. In the Data flow field enter or select AdobeSegmentMembershipDataFlow.
    5. Click Run.
  7. Create OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials by doing the following steps:
    1. In Dev Studio, go to CreateSecurityOAuth 2.0 Client Registration.
    2. In OAuth 2.0 Client Registration short description field, enter Adobe Segment Membership Credentials.
    3. In Client Name field, enter Adobe.
    4. Click Create and Open.
    5. Select Client credentials as Supported grant type.
    6. For radio group Set operator context using field, select Access group.
    7. For Access group field, enter or select PegaNBAM:Agents.
  8. Click View & download button to save the Client ID, Client secret, and Access token endpoint URL.
  9. Click Save.
  10. In the Pega Customer Decision Hub portal, click Data Profile Designer.
  11. Associate the Segment membership data set to your specific customer context.
