Troubleshooting the email bot

Updated on January 13, 2023

Increase the availability and responsiveness of Pega Email Bot™ so that users interact with the application without a delay and the system escalates reported problems to the correct operator or work queue.

You can address email bot performance issues and test how the system reacts to emails. By resolving problems that are related to the email account, channel administrators ensure that the system can send and receive emails. Similarly, channel developers verify that routing conditions that are defined for intelligent routing generate the expected results.

Testing all the routing conditions for the email bot ensures that the system can intelligently respond to requests, for example, by starting a business case in the application and sending an automatic reply.
Note: To learn more about troubleshooting natural language processing (NLP) issues in your email bots, see also Troubleshooting NLP.
