Updating the email bot to the 8.5 version
Improve Pega Email Bot™ performance and ensure that the email bot is more reliable and working as expected by carrying out update and maintenance procedures. When you take advantage of the latest features of the system, you maintain the better quality and health of the product, which enables users to interact with your application more efficiently.
Channel administrators carry out tasks related to updates and maintenance of the email bot when the system is in a development, QA, or production environment.
- Migrate existing database table contents to new tables for the 8.5 version to
improve the performance of the email bot. For more information, see Migrating triage cases to new tables.
- If your system is installed in Pega Cloud Services, schedule maintenance of the
system by periodically archiving triage cases. For more information, see Archiving resolved emails for an email bot (Pega Cloud Services).
