Data Designer enhancements

Data Designer in the Pega 7 Platform has been enhanced with a clean user interface that is consistent with Pega Express. You can now use simple, fancy, and complex field types to create and manage a variety of data types, as shown in the following figure:

You can also configure simple and fancy data types by clicking the Gear icon in the row of the data type, as displayed in the following figures:

The preceding figures show Data Designer enhancements in the Pega 7 Platform. In Pega Express, Data Designer has the same features, but the user interface has fewer tabs and fewer fields on each tab.
