Service dotNet rules

Updated on April 6, 2022

Use a package of Service dotNet rules to provide Pega Platform services to an external system based on the Microsoft .NET Framework for Web services.

Important: Service dotNet rules are no longer being actively developed and will be deprecated in Pega Platform 8.7. Using Service dotNet rules does not follow Pega development best practices. Use Service SOAP rules instead. For more information, see Service SOAP rules.

Access

Use the Application Explorer or the Integration Overview landing page to see Service dotNet rules in your application. Use the Records Explorer to list all Service dotNet rules that are available to you. To access the Integration Overview landing page, select Dev Studio > Integration > Overview.

Category

Service dotNet rules belong to the Integration-Services category. A Service dotNet rule is an instance of the Rule-Service-dotNet class.
