BIX logging

The PegaBIX log file contains information about Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX) extractions that can be useful to determine what caused a problem during a BIX extraction process. BIX extracts class data then writes out a batch of records, one batch at a time. These events, including any error messages, are recorded in the PegaBIX log file.

  • When a BIX extraction is run from within your application, any errors are displayed on-screen and are also logged.
  • Adding parameters to BIX extractions through the Job Scheduler or command-line can stop the extraction process at their first error. For more information, see BIX parameters and command-line arguments

    Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX) logs are visible in System Operations and can be downloaded.

  • BIX error handling

    Errors normally terminate the Business intelligence exchange (BIX) extract. The extraction may continue to run during certain exceptions:
