Using email integrations

Learn the ways in which you can use your email integration to efficiently manage your email.

By using the email features that are available in Pega Platform, you can customize your email integration to fit your organization's needs. For example, create and send email by using automations, or use an email channel to automatically update a case.

  • Sending encrypted email

    Configure outbound email from Pega Platform to use the standard S/MIME protocol, to send encrypted email messages to external email addresses. By sending encrypted email, you assure your recipients that your email messages are secure and authentic.

  • Receiving encrypted email

    Configure your application to receive encrypted email messages from external sources. With this configuration, you ensure that your application accepts secure and authentic email messages.
