Modifying Prediction Studio notification settings

Updated on July 5, 2022

Define when you want to receive Prediction Studio notifications about changes in the performance of your predictions and models. Adjust the notification settings to control which kind of changes trigger notifications.

Before you change any notification settings, ensure that you have a good understanding of prediction monitoring, adaptive models monitoring, and predictive models monitoring. Try to predict how changing the frequency of receiving notifications can help you manage your models. For example, by default, Prediction Studio sends notifications when a prediction's lift drops by more than 10% in comparison to the previous week. You can increase the monitoring sensitivity, for example, by setting a smaller drop of 5% as the notification trigger.

Before you begin:

Ensure that your system architect updates your operator account with an access role that has the pyNotificationThreshold privilege in the ultimate base class (@baseclass) set to level 5.

  1. In the navigation pane of Prediction Studio, click SettingsNotification settings.
  2. Define when you would like to receive notifications about changes in response, output, performance, or predictor metrics.
