Troubleshooting the strategy test run panel
You want to perform a performance batch test run on a strategy that contains an external input component. On the test run slide-out panel, however, you do not see the option to select a strategy from which you want to use the external input.
Cause
The system detects the external input from the saved version of the strategy, not from the displayed version. If you added an external input shape and you did not save the strategy, the test run slide-out panel does not display the option to test the strategy using external input. You need to save the strategy to see this option.
Solution
- In Dev Studio, on the strategy form, click Save.
- Configure the performance batch test run.Result: In the Batch settings window, the Performance tab displays the options for testing the strategy using external input from another strategy.
