If you experience any problems when working with the Stream service, use the following tips to troubleshoot and solve the most common issues.

• Data flow runs stop on the Stream service nodes

  You want to process data flows on the Stream service nodes, but the data flow runs stop. The status of the Stream service nodes is Normal.

• Stream nodes repeatedly throw exceptions when the REST endpoint is exposed

  Repeated exceptions on stream nodes might occur when the REST endpoint is exposed.

• Stream service nodes fail on IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5

  When you host a Pega Platform instance on IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5 with the default settings, the Stream service nodes fail.

• Troubleshooting the Stream service

  To troubleshoot issues that are related to the Stream service, you can copy all the data from one cluster to another. For example, you can copy data from the production environment to the testing environment. Troubleshooting the Stream service in the testing environment does not affect production environment users.
