Validate application testing

Updated on July 14, 2022

Validate that your application testing covers each case type at least once. Deployment Manager returns an error if your application does not cover every case type as part of the testing. Add the Validate application testing task to your update pipeline to check for all case types from all applications in the system.

Note: This task must come directly after an automated or manual testing step in your pipeline model. If your tests are manual, add the Perform manual step task and approve the task manually when complete.

This task validates only case types that you define on the application rule and does not consider the applications that you configure in application quality settings or any built-on applications.

Note: This task is only available on Pega Platform 8.5.3 and above and requires the PegaPlatformValidator application on the candidate system.
