Enabling push notifications for a case type

Updated on March 22, 2019

Objective

Learn more about enabling push notifications in App Studio. You can enable push notifications for a case type to inform users on mobile devices about service-level agreements that expired, and to highlight cases that require action. By calling attention to such cases, you help users resolve cases faster.

This task takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Procedure

  1. Ensure that your mobile app meets all the prerequisites for push notifications. For more information, see Requirements for goal and deadline push notifications.
  2. In the navigation panel of App Studio, click Case types, and then click the name of your case type.
  3. On the Settings tab, click Notifications.
  4. Select the Enable push for goal and deadline notifications check box.
  5. Select the Notify user when assignment is routed to worklist check box.
