The Documentation Wizard produces a professionally organized document with use cases, screen shots, and other application assets directly from your Enterprise Rules Repository. The wizard is accessed by going to Application > Document….
- Upon selecting the appropriate application, select the template you wish to use for your documentation. There are two templates available by default, which can be edited and configured.
- Specify the criteria of what is to be captured in the document.
- Capture the screens to include in the document, such as UI mock-ups.
- Create a document by clicking on the Create document button.
A Microsoft Word document is generated using the specified template, merging all the rule types. In addition, a table of contents is created indicating all of the components of the application. The user interface, flow actions, etc. are included, giving you a definition document that can be generated and printed at anytime. This document also supports versioning and is customizable by organization or project.
