How can I make sure my web application will work with Internet Explorer versions 6 and 7?

Updated on January 27, 2017

To support both versions 6 and 7 of Internet Explorer, select the Create Global Web Page check box on the Interrogation Form dialog box when interrogating web applications.

Create Global Web Page field

By selecting this option only the web page is considered during matching and the complete hierarchy is ignored. Object Explorer displays only the web pages and interrogated controls and excludes the entire hierarchy.
