HTML Paragraph and SmartInfo

Updated on October 7, 2014

Transcript

The new Rule-HTML-Paragraph rule type uses a “what-you-see-is-what-you-get” editor to allow for easier development of complex interface requirements. A Rule-HTML-Paragraph rule can be included in flow actions and sections using the paragraph icon.

One limitation of the Rule-HTML-Paragraph rule is that it does not support the embedding of property references. However, the relational paragraph does support Smart Info pop-ups. The SmartInfo HTML Property uses parameters to define the section that will be displayed in the pop-up. For example, you can give an explanation for how a value or decision was calculated or perhaps information about region specific regulations.

Let’s review the CollectBorrowerInfo flow action as an example.

In the CollectBorrowerInfo flow action, the highlighted cell uses a Rule-HTML-Paragraph rule to include the text you see on screen. By clicking on the related rule, you can see it contains a standard “what-you-see-is-what-you-get” editor. To include a Smart Info pop-up:

  1. Highlight the text you wish to select.
  2. Click the question mark button.
  3. Choose the section you wish include such as a legal disclaimer.
  4. Click Save to save your rule.
