Interactive tasks in an application guide

Updated on June 10, 2020

A task in an application guide is interactive when it includes a link to a related resource. By complementing your instructional text with supporting information, such as a document or guided tour, you can help users complete tasks more quickly.

For example, you can create a task with instructions for creating a database table. To make the task interactive, you can add a link to an online help topic that defines the different schema tools that your application supports.
