Importing Next-Best-Action Designer templates

In Pega Customer Decision Hub, Next-Best-Action Designer provides a wizard-based approach to building and monitoring your next-best-action strategies. To speed up and simplify the process of implementing Next-Best-Action, Pega provides industry-specific templates with the recommended business structure, engagement policy, arbitration, and channel settings suited for the Retail Banking, Communications, Insurance, and Healthcare industries.

Before you begin: Follow the installation and implementation instructions for Pega Customer Decision Hub.
  1. In the Pega Customer Decision Hub, click Next-Best-ActionDesigner.

  2. Click Select a templateAdd a template from file.

  3. Select the template by using one of the following options:

    • If you previously downloaded a template from Pega Marketplace, click Select local file.
    • If you have not downloaded a template yet, click Browse Pega Marketplace.
  4. Click Add to preview the template before you apply it.

    Result: Pega Customer Decision Hub displays the business rules in the template, as seen in the following figure:

  5. Hover over the question mark icon over each category of business rules to see its description.

  6. Click Use this template to deploy the template.
