Issue: PRPC 6.1 OCX Installer documentation discrepancies

Updated on February 17, 2016

Symptom

For PRPC 6.1, two OCX Installer files contain errors:

  • Read_ME.txt
  • Downloaded_Program_Files.doc

The Read_ME.txt file in the OCX Installer references a version.properties file that is not loaded from the OCX installer package.

The Downloaded_Program_Files.doc  file lists OCX file versions that do not match the OCX file versions that appear on your target system after you run the OCX Installer. Here are the discrepancies between the downloaded file versions and the documented file versions:

Solution

The OCX Installer correctly loads all required files. Ignore the reference to the version.properties file documented in Read_ME.txt. Ignore the incorrect references documented in downloaded_Program_Files.doc.
