Submitting a request to reassign a work order

As a field worker, you can submit a request to reassign a work order if, for example, you are not capable of performing the work. In such a scenario, your request is sent to the dispatcher, to assign the work order to a different field worker.

Before you begin: You cannot perform this task if you started the work on this work order or started travel.
  1. In the Pega Field Service mobile app, on the My Worklist page, open a dispatched work order by performing one of the following actions:

    • On the My Schedule tab, tap a work order.
    • On the Map tab, tap a work order pin and then tap the work order details.
  2. On the Work order page, tap Actions.

  3. Tap Reassign to another field worker.

  4. In the Reason field, select a reason for reassigning the work order.

    For example: I don't have the experience required to complete this work order.
  5. Tap Submit.

Result: The work order status is Exception-Reassign.
