Updating the sub-location details of a work order in the Pega Field Service Interaction portal

Updated on October 6, 2020

As a customer service representative (CSR), you can update the existing sub-location details after creating the service request and work order. A sub-location defines the exact location for work to be performed at the customer location. For example, if the configured product is placed in the basement of the customer location, then “basement” is the sub-location.

  1. In the Pega Field Service Interaction portal, identify the customer.

For more information about how to identify a customer, see Identifying a customer in the Pega Field Service Interaction portal.

  2. Identify and select the work order that you want to update.

  3. To update the existing sub-location details, on the work order review harness, click the Edit icon next to the Sub-location field.

Add a new sub-location if it does not exist in the displayed list. For more information, see Adding a new sub-location in the Pega Field Service Interaction portal.
