Skins, Interfaces, & Templates landing page

The Skins, Interfaces, & Templates landing page displays all the available skin rules for the current application. The landing page also shows portals in use by the current and built-on applications, their associated skins, and the access groups and operators that use them. You can open skins and portals from this page.

Access

In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure > User Interface > Skins, interfaces, & templates to display the landing page.

Skins tab

This tab shows the skins in use by the current application. Click the arrows to sort and filter results.

  • Skin name – Displays the names of the skins in the application. Click a skin to open it for review or update. For more information, see Skin rules.

  • Ruleset – Displays the ruleset in which the skin is used.

  • Version – Displays the ruleset version in which the skin is used.

  • Updated – Displays the date on which the skin was updated.

  • Updated by – Displays the operator who last updated the skin.

  • Actions – Click Download statistics to see a spreadsheet of size statistics for elements used in the skis.

Interfaces tab

This tab shows the web channel interfaces (portals) in use by the current and built-on applications, their associated skins, and the access groups and operators that use them.

  • Web channel interface – Displays the portals in use by the current application and built-on applications. To open a portal rule form, click the displayed name.

  • Skin – Displays the name of the skin that is being used in each portal. Click a skin to open it for review or update. For more information, see Skin rules.

  • Access groups – Displays the number of access groups that use the portals in the current application and built-on applications. Double-click the number to display a list of these access groups.

  • Operators – Displays the number of operators that use the portals in the current and built-on applications. Double-click the number to display a list of operators comprising the total.

  • Application – Displays Current or Built-Ons to indicate the application using the portal.

Templates tab

This tab shows the templated sections, by class, for the current application.

  • Class name – Displays the name of the applies-to class for the templated section.

  • Section name – Displays the instances of all templated sections in the application.

  • Template – Displays the name of the template on which the section is based.

  • Ruleset – Displays the ruleset in which the templated section is used.

  • Version – Displays the ruleset version in which the templated section is used.

  • Updated – Displays the date on which the templated section was updated.

  • Updated by – Displays the operator who last updated the templated section.
