CheckIfBINIsAvailable decision table

Updated on March 9, 2022

The CheckIfBINIsAvailable decision table evaluates the existence of 6-digit BIN or 8-digit BIN configured by the Issuer using the new data transform in the Smart Dispute application.

Pega Smart Dispute for Issuers

Decision table to configure all the existing the 6-Digit BIN data transforms values. When the 8-digit BIN dynamic system settings (DSS) value is set to true and clients use 6-digit BIN in their system along with a newly authorized 8-digit BIN in the same system, then this decision table supports the coexistence of both BINs. The new 8-digit BIN will be configured by the Issuer using the new data transform. Additionally, configuring the 6-digit BIN numbers in this decision table helps the system to identify the 6-digit BINs those configured previously.
