Modernization Tool

This content applies to On-premises, Client-managed cloud and Pega Cloud environments

The Modernization Tool analyzes your current Pega deployment to identify gaps between your current deployment and the features and functionality available on the latest release, such as deprecated features and rule conflicts.

Run the Modernization Tool on your Pega applications to gather necessary application and environment information required for the assessment phases. The output of the Modernization Tool includes information about your applications and helps identify areas that may require attention when migrating. Use this output as a reference when determining required remediations and formulating the Migration Project Plan.

The Modernization Tool must be run individually on each production application and generates a separate output.
