Pega requires a comprehensive assessment of your current Pega deployment before beginning the migration to Pega Cloud. This analysis includes:
- A thorough assessment of your source applications, the database where your Pega applications and Pega data are stored, and your current infrastructure
- A gap analysis, which identifies any unsupported features and functionality, and identifies the best way to provide equivalent functionality or to leverage new features to modernize your Pega application
- A detailed change plan with actionable items
This analysis reduces the risk of potential roadblocks, ensuring that the migration is completed efficiently and on time.
Involve Application Owners, System Administrators, Database Administrators, Network Engineers, and other stakeholders to collect the information necessary to perform the assessment.
