During the Production Environment Preparation, execute one or more dry runs of the data migration process and develop the Production Cutover Runbook.

Preparation of the production environment includes several preliminary steps, including a dry run of the data migration.

Use the Pega Cloud production environment or production mirror for the dry run data migration.  There are no users in either of these environments yet, therefore the dry run will not impact any end users.

Performing one or more dry runs is essential to ensure that the final migration goes smoothly, that all the steps in the process have been covered and any difficulties with the process are addressed before the final migration.
