Distributing mobile apps

Updated on November 9, 2021

After you generate native mobile apps in Pega Platform, you can distribute those apps among Android and iOS users by using various methods, for example, a banner that is displayed in a desktop version of the application.

  • Adding a banner for mobile app download

When users access your application on their mobile browser, you can notify them that a mobile app is available for download. You do this by means of a smart app banner, which includes a link for the user to download the mobile app.

  • Downloading a mobile app in a binary file

After you build a mobile app, you can download the app binary file that contains the packaged, branded app.

  • Publishing QR codes

Ensure that users can download your mobile app by distributing the app installation package with a QR code.
