Production Migration Wizard

PRPC 5.3 introduces a Product Migration wizard that allows you to quickly extract, move, and import Rule-Admin-Products (and patches) to remote systems. This feature is useful, for example, when moving rules from Development to QA.

The wizard can be accessed from the developer menu under File > Migrate Product. Here you can specify the product, the product’s version, patch number, if applicable, and the desired system in which you wish to import the rules.

You can save your target system information by creating instances of Data-Admin-System-Targets. These saved settings are available for selection when using the migration wizard.

The migration itself uses a SOAP connector to notify the target system of the request for migration. The request contains information about where the target system can download the zip archive, and then the service downloads and imports the archive.

Package Work and Purge Archive Wizards

The Package Work wizard is available moves work objects (and related instances) between PRPC instances. The Purge & Archive enables you to easily configure and schedule a purge and archive strategy.

Localization Wizard

The Localization wizard reduces the effort required to localize an application by finding ALL text in your application and creating a spreadsheet for translation. This is a very powerful tool in making your applications available globally.

Email Wizard

The Email wizard sets up inbound/outbound email connectivity quickly and easily. The e-mail accelerator is used to receive an e-mail and create a work object or to configure outbound e-mail.
