Use the Modernization Implementation Guide with the Pega Cloud Readiness Tool.  The Modernization Implementation Guide helps you understand each of the areas identified by the Pega Cloud Readiness Tool and provides a high-level approach to follow to correctly update and modernize your Pega solution to leverage the latest capabilities of the Pega platform.

It is important to analyze the output of the Pega Cloud Readiness Tool in the context of the application and its current business use cases. The Pega Cloud Readiness Tool output may reflect gaps associated with rules that are no longer used in the application, but have not been withdrawn.  In such cases, gaps may be able to be addressed by simply removing the rules.  There may also be gaps or groups of gaps that could be addressed by adopting a new feature available in the latest version of the Pega Platform. Knowing the history of the application and the current business use cases is key to assessing the output and determining the best path forward to mitigating gaps in alignment with the application’s current use cases.
