Standard management reports in PRPC 6.3

Updated on September 20, 2019

Standard management reports help business managers monitor and analyze business processes or activities automated as PRPC applications..

Overview

In PRPC 6.3, standard management reports appear by default in the Report Browser, in the Standard Reports folders:

Report Browser left panel

As developers and managers use a system, additional folders and reports may appear in the Standard Reports section.

The standard management reports include:

  • Monitor Assignments
    • External Assignments by Operator
    • Timeliness by operator and work type for my work group
    • Timeliness by task
    • Timeliness by Work Queue
    • Timeliness of Resolved Items By Operator
  • Analyze Performance
    • Average duration per flow task
    • Average Duration and Timeliness by Assignment Type and Action
    • Average Performance Time By Task
    • Average Processing Time in Hours By Task and Flow Action
    • Performance Detail in average hours
    • Timeliness by Flow and Task
  • Analyze Quality
    • Arrivals Past Eight Weeks SV
    • Average elapsed time per status
    • Daily Arrivals SV
    • Effort in days by Customer
    • Timeliness by Resolving Unit
    • Timeliness by work type
  • Monitor Processes
    • Effort by organization unit
    • List of processes entered by operator
    • List of processes resolved by the current operator
    • Process Status For Current Work Pool
    • Progress in days by organization
    • Throughput in past week by work type
    • Timeliness by organization type
    • Timeliness by work type

The report titles are in most cases explanatory of the information the report seeks to display. The "SV" that appears from place to place is a holdover from when these reports were of the older SummaryView type.

The "Type" column to the left of each report shortcut indicates whether the report is a list, a summary, or a summary report with a chart:

You can use any of the reports as-is, or save copies to use as the basis of custom reports that match the requirements of your application or your business process. Running various reports helps demonstrate both the workings of the Report Browser, Report Viewer, Report Editor; and the range of information PRPC reports can deliver.
