DCO 3.1 - Enabling DCO Access

Updated on June 10, 2020

DCO capabilities are packaged in the Pega-AppDefinition RuleSet.

Process Commander V5.5 packages the DCO 3.1 version of the RuleSet with the PegaRULES application rule to give users access to DCO 3.1 tools without special configuration steps.

Although this change eliminates the enablement set up required in previous DCO releases after a new install, Process Commander upgrades to V5.5 require you to update your existing application rules.

Enabling DCO for Applications After a V5.5 Upgrade

When you upgrade a system to Process Commander V5.5, update the Built on Application field located on the General tab of each application rule in your system that is built directly on Process Commander to reference PegaRULES version 05:05.

Once you make the change, users of those systems can access DCO 3.1 functionality. Any future applications or extensions of existing applications you create using DCO tools will reference the correct application rule.
