Configuring the PaidMediaSync queue processor to optimize performance
The PaidMediaSync queue processor manages the synchronization queue for Paid Media Manager. To help optimize performance, configure the queue processor as described below.
- If you use or plan to use Paid Media Manager to extend your next-best-action decisioning to paid ad platforms such as Facebook Ads or Google Ads, verify that the number of nodes per thread is optimized for the expected number of requests. - If you do not plan to use Paid Media Manager, disable the PaidMediaSync queue processor. For more information, see Disabling the PaidMediaSync queue processor.

By default, the queue processor has two threads per node. You can modify the number of threads based on the specifications of your environment.

If you do not use Paid Media Manager, you should disable the PaidMediaSync queue processor to help optimize performance.
