Viewing dependent changes

Updated on June 29, 2022

In Pega 1:1 Operations Manager, you can now discover the dependencies between change requests. You can view the dependencies for standard change requests (CR) and operations change requests (OpsCR).

Pega 1:1 Operations Manager Documentation Center
Use the related change request capability to help locate dependencies by business artifacts, such as Action, When or Treatment. This feature will help you manage multiple changes that are related to one another, and you will be able to continue making business transformations without affecting other change requests.
  1. Log in to Pega 1:1 Operations Manager as a member of one the following access groups:
    • Revision Manager
    • Team Lead
    • NBA Specialist
    • Business User
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Change RequestsName of change request you want to openDependent changes.
The Dependent changes window shows requests that rely on changes from the selected change request. Use this information to manage your changes without conflicting with other changes.
For example: In the revision you have a CR-1 Gift Card for the first-time U+App user, which uses a When rule FirstTimeUser. This When rule is defined as a part of CR-3 Create a WHEN rule. If you check the dependency on the CR-3 it will show you, that it is dependent on CR-1, which uses the FirstTimeUserWhen rule.
