Rolling the log file

Customize the logging files by editing the appender properties, for example the file name, maximum file size or the appender used.

To generate a new log file each day, configure the FileNamePattern property to specify how log files are named.
To configure a maximum size for the log files generated, configure the file name pattern and specify the maximum file size as shown.

Note: By default, a new log file is generated when the server starts on a day.
