Defining the default position

You can choose from four different locations to display the call control panel on the Pega desktop.

By default, the call control panel is located in the lower-right corner of the Pega desktop.

Enable the drag-and-drop feature so that CSRs can move the call control panel from its default position during an interaction. For more information, see Defining drag and drop.

Note: This feature is available in Pega Call version 8.6.1 and later.
  1. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click RecordsSysAdminDynamic System Settings.
  2. In the Setting Purpose column, click the Filter icon, and then, in the Search Text field, enter CCPPosition.
  3. Click CCPPosition.
  4. On the Settings tab, in the Value field, enter the appropriate value:
    • To place the call control panel in the lower-right corner of the Pega desktop, retain default or enter bottomright.
    • To place the call control panel in the lower-left corner of the Pega desktop, enter bottomleft.
    • To place the call control panel in the upper-left corner of the Pega desktop, enter topleft.
    • To place the call control panel in the upper-right corner of the Pega desktop, enter topright.
  5. Confirm your update by clicking Save.
