Configuring enforced relationship code pairs
Application by default enforces key relationship pairs in the system that are created automatically for frequently used relationship roles pairs. If the Relationship Manager adds any of the relationship code mentioned in the table below, the system adds its corresponding enforced relationship code to the related party.
Relationship code | Enforced relationship code |
Majority Shareholder (MSH) | Subsidiary (SUB) |
Minority Shareholder (LSH) | Affiliate (AFF) |
Head Office (HDO) | Division (DIV) |
Head Office (HDB) | Branch (BRO) |
- For example, if the Relationship Manager adds Majority Shareholder (MSH) role to a party relationship, the system automatically adds the Subsidiary (SUB) role accordingly.
- For example, if the Relationship Manager adds Subsidiary (SUB) role, the system automatically adds Majority Shareholder (MSH).
While the preconfigured logic for adding the enforced pairs covers most regular cases, there might be some situations where the Relationship Manager might need to add more enforced relationship pairs. To add more enforced pairs combinations, perform the following steps.
- In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click Records.
- Expand the Decision category, and then click Decision Table.
- In the Decision Table tab, search for and select the RelatedPartyEnforcedPairs decision table.
- In the table, add new roles to the existing list and set the return value as true.
- Click Save.
