Configuring indirect related parties selection list

The manage related parties feature is enhanced to collect indirect related parties in addition to direct related parties. The list of intermediary parties that a relationship manager can select while adding an indirect related party is a subset of related parties that are already added to the related party network. The default logic displays only related parties of type organizations as intermediary parties.

While the preconfigured logic for displaying the list of intermediary related parties covers most regular cases, there might be some situations where the Relationship Manager might need to override the automated logic. To update the logic, perform the following steps.

  1. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click Records.
  2. Expand the Data Model category, and then click Data Page.
  3. in the Data Page tab, search for and select the D_PopulateIntermediaryPartiesList data page.
  4. In the Data Source section, update the data transform to include new logic.
  5. Click Save.
