Configuring validations

Updated on January 13, 2022

While adding a related party, the Relationship Manager typically collects basic data, roles, and attributes. Certain validations are implemented in the product during this process so that the data collected is consistent and appropriate.

Pega Client Lifecycle Management for Financial Services Implementation Guide

While the preconfigured validation logic covers most regular cases, there might be some situations where the Relationship Manager might need to override the validation logic to add custom validations. The following rules can be configured to modify the behavior of both default validation.

Rule nameRule typeUsage
ValidateRelatedPartyDetailsValidateCheck if related party information, roles, and attributes are appropriate.
ValidateOverrideAggregateOwnershipPercentageValidateCheck if the ownership percentage value is within prescribed limits.
ValidateOverrideDeemedControllingValidateCheck if a party can be overridden for deem controlling.
