Configuring your application

Updated on June 25, 2021

The topics in this section describe standard access groups and operators to access the application, and the purpose of application build.

Application access

After installing Pega Client Lifecycle Management and KYC your environment, check the base application to see the out of the box functionality and use that configuration as a reference point for your settings.

The base application provides several standard access groups that can facilitate access to the application. If you installed the sample application and enabled the operators in the installation step, you can use these credentials to access the application.

If you did not install the sample layer, you can create operators against the standard access groups that are listed in the table below. For more information, see Implementation Guide Pega Client Lifecycle Management and KYC product page.

Access group/OperatorTypeDescription

Building your application

After installing the base application, create your own implementation layer. This layer is a Pega application that is built on top of the base product to contain the configuration and specializations that make the base product meet your specific business needs.

Creating an implementation layer is a multi step process in which you perform different tasks, for example, defining your implementation strategy, building a new application, or configuring your access groups and operators. Follow the instructions in the Building a new application section of the Implementation Guide on Pega Client Lifecycle Management and KYC product page.
