eID API update to 3.0
The eIdentification (eID) is used as a trusted data source when identifying and verifying the identity of potential customers of the bank. The eID utility increases the efficiency of the onboarding process as the retail customer verifies their passport or another official government-issued ID directly from the data source.
The work carried out in the release for this epic ensures that the Pega CLM application is using the latest version of web services from eID. In addition, the Pega CLM development team has rigorously tested the feature to validate that there is no loss in functionality due to the update.
Next Review Date on the Customer Summary Screen
The Next Review Date is a vital piece of information utilized by financial institutions in the context of managing the lifecycle of an existing customer relationship.
The Next Review Date is the due date on which a full review of a customer’s data and documents must be completed to ensure that all the financial institution’s data regarding the customer is not stale and the associated risk of doing business with the customer is accurately determined.
The Next Review Date field on the Customer Summary screen allows authorized users to see the value on the user interface, mitigating the need to run database queries or reports to uncover the date.
Accessibility enhancements for KYC questionnaires
Critical accessibility features within Pega CLM have been enhanced to assist visually impaired users to navigate around the application. Standard screen readers, such as Orca or JAWS, provide users with an accurate description of the content and context on the screen.
Improvements to PDF document and report generation functionality
The Pega CLM Product team has consumed and adjusted the PDF document generation feature provided by the Pega Platform. The PDF document generation feature is a technical enhancement with minor noticeable differences in terms of the generation of styling and performance of PDF documents.
Adoption of underlying operating structure changes from Pega FS
A series of the update to the Operating Structure functionality is adopted from the Pega Foundation for Financial Services layer. The adoption must increase general performance and reduce irregularities previously experienced when incrementally adding work groups.
As a part of the adoption from Pega FS the CLM product team addressed three main areas:
- Performance enhancements due to data repletion in the BLOB operating structure
- Uncovering and resolving irregularities during index creation when work groups are incrementally added to a node
- General clean-up of the clipboard regarding work group details
