Admin Studio is the portal in which you perform administrative and operations tasks in Pega Platform. To access Admin Studio, grant users either the PegaRULES:SysOpsAdministrator or the PegaRULES:SysOpsObserver role. Admin Studio replaces the System Management Application (SMA).

Users with the SysOpsAdministrator role can view and take actions in Admin Studio. The SysOpsObserver role has read-only access to data in Admin Studio.

1. Open the appropriate access group.

2. Add the role under Available Roles on the Definition tab.

3. Add pxAdminStudio to the list of available portals on the access group definition.
