Legacy mode support in Pega Collections
In Pega Customer Decision Hub™ 8.1, the Collections services only support legacy mode set to true. This means that the service does not support multi-level decisioning that was introduced in Pega Marketing™ 8.1. For Pega Customer Decision Hub 8.2 and newer releases, the service supports both legacy mode set to true, as well as legacy mode set to false.
In order to take advantage of multi-level decisioning in Collections, define Accounts as a secondary context under your Customer primary context and set the dynamic system setting LegacyMode to false.
The following are restrictions for using multi-level decisioning in Collections:
- Your marketing data must be stored in relational tables as opposed to DDS.
- You cannot define any secondary associations that are above (parent) to your primary customer association.
