Adding the CSChatComponentSettings data transform

To enable CSRs to transfer chat scripts to the agent while escalating a chat, add the CSChatComponentSettings data transform to the ApplicationSettings data transform. The CSChatComponentSettings data transform was added in Pega Customer Service version 8.7, and included in the ApplicationSettings data transform in Pega Customer Service for Communications version 8.7.

  1. In the header of Dev Studio, enter ApplicationSettings in the search field. ApplicationSettings is the source of the Declare_CAApplicationSettings datapage.
  2. In the search results list, click the ApplicationSettings data transform.
  3. On the Definition tab, click + at the bottom of the page to add a new step.
  4. In the Action dropdown box, select Apply Data Transform.
  5. In the Target field, enter CSChatComponentSettings.
  6. Click Save As.
